Typical Thursday, drive home pick up the mail and there's a little blue envelope addressed to me from a name and address I am not familiar with. I open it in my car, right at the mailbox and what I read I was so taken back by. I can't even describe it. Someone put time and effort into drafting this handwritten letter and found my address and mailed it to me. I had to share it. There are really no words. All I can say is I'm a believer in meant to be, this whole photography thing simply must be meant to be for me, I have had nothing but luck on my side since I started and even though it's been a long road it has brought me nothing but happiness and opened this little world of good and beautiful to me in a not-so-beautiful world. If I am giving one teeny ounce of that beauty back into the world then I am doing what I was meant to do.
To the author is this letter, my sincerest thanks, this gesture is full of kindness and thoughtfulness which I believe this world needs more of. I cannot tell you how touched I was by this letter. I hope our paths meet someday and I can capture memories for you as well. You have given me a true gift that I will never forget. P.S. No- I do not get letters like this everyday.
