I can never get over how gorgeous Oak Hill Farm is in the summer. Every wedding there is different and unique but the backdrop remains the same, sprawling beauty in every direction. From path of pines to the sweet chapel to the forest ceremony site to the old school house and the stunning pavillion, this place has every speck of dust perfected.
Jon and Michelle’s August wedding was the most gorgeous day of the year, I swear everything was perfect. Blue bird skies and peak sunflower field weekend. Then I added in these touches of early fall colors and viola! the prettiest day.
Beyond the details and the day, this couple was the absolute Sweetest, kindest, and most joyful couple you ever did meet. They were SO excited to get married, and SO full of smiles and joy and laughter. Every second they enjoyed and absorbed and that is so important and sometimes overlooked. Soaking up every moment is hard to do on a wedding day but these two managed it!
The couple opted for a first look before the wedding which I highly recommend. Then you can see eachother all day and not at ceremony time, you can enjoy your guests at cocktail hour, you can be done with directed photos.
