Jay and Tiffany's Dreamy Town Square Wedding

Not even sure how to put into words how I felt about Tiffany + Jay's wedding. If I could have blogged the entire wedding album I would have but I figured 600+ images would be a LOT of scrolling, so I narrowed it down to this preview. Tiffany and Jay simply rented the Cooksville School house and town square a community hall and made their vision come to life. The dress, the chairs, the colors, the details, everything came together so flawlessly.

Tiffany and Jay just returned from a dream honeymoon to Ireland, they were married on May 31, 2014. Enjoy the preview and please be very sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to see the list of Tiffany's amazing vendors that really made this day possible. I know why she chose these vendors, this bride has impeccable taste and vision and I am so honored she choose me to photograph this gorgeous day.

Valera and Ashley's Downtown Engagement Session

I know Ashley and her family and even shot her older sisters amazing wedding years ago, it was one of my first weddings as a primary shooter. I know they are a wonderful family and Its always a treat to be around them, so when I heard Ashley got engaged to Valera I was really happy for them but when they contacted me for their wedding I was ecstatic! I know this is going to be a fabulous wedding in downtown Milwaukee at The Grain Exchange

I had a blast at their engagement session with Ashley and Valera showing me around the city they fell in love with/in. October cannot come soon enough! Enjoy the preview of this great session that started at Colectivo Coffee and ended at the beach....

Key West Wedding | Alison and Andrew

From time to time I dig back into the archives and look at old weddings, a lot has changed in my process and editing. My point of view is still there, I think my style is the same but I have definitely evolved as a photographer, which is a good thing, always keep improving right?

One common thing I have found is that my very favorite is dining alfresco! Dinners and receptions outdoors (although they are few and far between) but when they happen are magical.

I'm tossing out some inspiration for couples to be- if you are uncertain of a wedding venue, uncertain of wedding venue costs, and want something fun and different than the same old convention center, you should look into a few new ideas for wedding which I love. Such as, renting a big beautiful house (or mansion) anywhere in the world on VRBO.com- I mean ANYWHERE, rent it for the weekend, bring in some tables and chairs and put together a few DIY decorations and  yummy food...Viola! Amazing wedding.

You will see a LOT more of this type of wedding from me this year, starting with Tiffany & Jay's  Cooksville Schoolhouse wedding, but they are in Ireland on their honeymoon so we're holding off until they return, until then check out Andrew & Alison's Al Fresco Key West Wedding at Ernest Hemmingway's beautiful home....Have you been to Key West? DO.

Oh and BTW I have some killer destination Wedding specials for the months of January-April- wink..wink...

You know what is great? You don't have to have a "beach" wedding because your at the beach....

Alison and Andrew and I did a "day after session "in Key West, messy hair, messy dress & suit, barefoot and running through the streets.
